Service Description

Join Ailsa for an hour of energetic and uplifting Vinyasa Flow Yoga and restful and restorative Yoga Nidra. The epitome of from yang to yin, each class will begin with a sequence of flowing movements linked with the breath and close with an extended relaxation of Yoga Nidra. The Vinyasa Flow sequence will guide you through a moving meditation that stretches and strengthens your whole body. The Vinyasa Flow portion is designed to clear the mind, release tension and create space for you to land back in your body, preparing you to enjoy the restful stillness of Yoga Nidra. The rejuvenating, restorative and grounding practice of Yoga Nidra comprises the final portion of the class. Yoga Nidra is a form of meditation practised lying down and guides you between sleep and wakefulness. This state is profoundly nourishing and restorative and helps you to guide your body into the rest and digest nervous system response. Connect inwards, cultivate stillness and experience deep rest with Ailsa’s Vinyasa Flow Yoga and Yoga Nidra classes. Ailsa’s classes are for all levels and suitable for everyone from beginners to those more experienced at practising yoga. Ailsa gives several options in more challenging poses to accommodate all levels. Yoga Nidra is an accessible form of meditation suitable for both those who are completely new to yoga and those who are more familiar with the practice. Overall, Ailsa’s yoga classes are a deeply relaxing, meditative and physically rewarding experience. Vinyasa Flow Yoga and Yoga Nidra with Ailsa on a Thursday evening takes place in STUDIO 19 at Bristol School of Yoga.
